We as humans have are not just consumers we have a creative spirit within us. We sing, write, compose, entertain, sculpt, invent. The The Renaissance was a fervent period of European cultural, artistic, political and economic “rebirth” following the Middle Ages. Generally described as taking place from the 14th century to the 17th century, the Renaissance promoted the rediscovery of classical philosophy, literature and art.

It was a time when the creative spirit within us manifested itself in so many ways we still acknowledge today. This period gave rise to many of the "Masters" of art, music, and thought (Science). Even today, to be called a "renaissance person" is a complement signifying that a person peruses excellence in many of areas.
